FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ACADEMY

Established in 1997, Financial Management Academy (FIMA) draws its legacy from the erstwhile Audit and Accounts Centre set up in 1962 before independence and Audit and Accounts Training Academy in 1997 after independence. Headed by a Director General (Grade-II), Financial Management Academy is the only training organization in the public sector which offers training on both upstream and downstream activities of public financial management (PFM) including budget formulation, approval, execution, and accounting and reporting and auditing.
